Overview

This project is a web-based restaurant menu site that showcases a full food menu starter, main course, salads, snacks, drinks, etc with prices and ordering options. The site aims to give visitors a pleasant, easy to navigate view of the dishes, using appetizing images and a clean layout.

Idea

The idea behind this website was to simulate a modern digital menu for a restaurant: give users a place where they can easily browse available dishes, see prices, and get a “restaurant feel" online. Instead of a static PDF or plain text, the menu is interactive and visually appealing better reflects how people expect to see restaurant menus today.

Challenge

Key challenges likely included organizing the menu so it’s easy to navigate (with categories like Appetizer, Main Course, Drinks), making sure images and layout look good, and balancing readability with visual appeal. Also making sure that price and portions are displayed clearly, and designing UI elements (buttons, filters) so that users don’t get confused.

Key Features

  • Multiple menu categories (Appetizer, Main Course, Salad, Snacks, Drinks) for clear organization.
  • Food items show name, price (with size/portion variations if any), and an “Order Now” button.
  • Attractive images for dishes to give a more realistic, appetizing feel.
  • Clean, modern layout
  • Basic “hero” / landing section that reflects restaurant branding and sets user expectations (e.g. tagline, short intro, “Order Now” call to action).

How It Works

  1. User opens the website in browser.
  2. On landing page, user sees a hero section with restaurant branding and invitation to browse or order.
  3. User navigates to the “Menu” section, where dishes are organized by category.
  4. User browses through dishes, sees the name, price, maybe size/portion options, and an “Order Now” button for each item.
